VOLUNTEER TODAY!
Without the help of dedicated community volunteers, we would not be able to safely and effectively host our classes. There are two primary volunteer roles: horse leaders and side walkers. Horse leaders are in charge of handling the horse and making sure he is staying on task throughout the lesson. Side walkers walk directly next to the rider during the lesson and assist with balance, reiterate directions given by the instructor, help the rider use their reins, and assist the rider with class time activities. All who are interested in volunteering can call or email to set up an initial barn tour and training session to get started. Challenged Champions appreciates the hard work our volunteers have devoted to our program.
